In our effort to make certain we are providing the best and most reliable solutions to our clients, we will perform the following tasks prior to shipping any hardware:

Power on the unit.

Install and activate any data collection software purchased.

Verify the touchscreen/display functions properly.

If purchasing a GPS/GNSS receiver, we will take the unit outside and make certain it properly tracks satellites for field collection. If purchasing optics, we will make certain they are fully functional and operating as intended.

Check any docking station, USB or AC Charger cables to ensure they are in full working condition.

Make certain the SD memory card slot (and card itself if purchased) is fully functioning by opening and transferring data files.
If there is a problem with the receiver after initial delivery of an online order, The Sidwell Company will provide a new replacement unit within the first thirty (30) days and pay for the return shipment to our facility. At Sidwell, we pride ourselves on our years of expertise in GIS workflow and implementation and our ability to pass this knowledge along to our clients through training services. Our training services are customized to each and every client’s workflow and operation needs and we will work with each client to properly outline the field and office training components. There are three different training options, which are online web-based training, training a Sidwell’s Corporate Office in St. Charles, IL or training at the client’s location. Order Process
The order is initiated when Sidwell receives the online order.
Delivery
Most orders will ship either same or next day. The UPS Policy is delivery in 1-5 business days depending on proximity to Sidwell's corporate office in St. Charles, Illinois and requested shipping placement. Free shipping & handling to destinations within the Continental United States. We do not ship to locations outside the United States.
Returns
Hardware orders returned for any reason may be sent back to Sidwell's corporate office and must be return in the items original condition within 30 days of the original purchase. A restocking fee of 15% will be assessed on all returned orders. Software unlock codes are unable to be returned for any reason due to the code being tied to the serial number of the device.

Warranty
Warranty and service are provided by manufacturer(s), which is typically one (1) year parts & labor on serialized components. Please contact us for more detailed information for warranty information on specific products. Extended warranties are also available on many products.
Taxes
Prices quoted on the online store do not include applicable sales tax or use taxes unless so stated. Please allow for applicable sales tax if it applies to the order. Sidwell reserves the right to collect sales tax assessed by state as required by law. Sidwell will also add state sales tax to the invoice unless we are provided with written proof or documentation with the order that your organization is tax exempt or pays state tax directly.
